Jim Ross evades vicious car crash, tweets he’s okay – Wrestling news
James William Ross, widely known as Jim Ross, the best ever and the most applauded commentator in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), recently experienced a traumatising scenario when his vehicle collided with another almost jeopardising
his life.
According to the details, Ross, aged 60, was going back home in his Cadillac Escalade when it crashed into another from the front. Jim informed his fans by tweeting on his twitter account that he is okay and has not suffered any serious injuries. He thanked
god and said that if it was not for the air bag he might have been in hospital or might have simply passed away.
Jim Ross was returning after enjoying the live women basketball match held between Oklahoma and Texas on last Saturday when he saw a young fellow taking an immediate wrong turn on the lane in which he was travelling. JR said that since the opposite vehicle
was coming from the front, both cars crashed straight into each other.
JR infamous as Good Ol J.R. also mentioned that he is feeling sore and has pain in various parts of his body and added that he is looking forward to undergo a detailed examination by visiting his family physician. Overall JR said that he was lucky because
of the airbag that saved him from any kind of serious damage since his age and old body cannot sustain any sharp injuries.
Jim Ross has been a part of WWE for a very long time. It would be true to denote him as one of the pioneers of pro wrestling entertainment who have witnessed its expansion with their own eyes. Currently working in the capacity of talent relations consultant
JR kicked off his career in 1974 as a referee in National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Mid-South.
Jim became the first Vice President of Marketing when Bill Watts bought Mid-south and in that capacity arranged his career’s first ever World title match between Ric Flair and Ted DiBiase. Ross became the part of World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1993
and started his commentating career as a main voice in WWF’s pay-per-views.
Jim Ross is famous for his colourful commentary. The way he draws the whole fight and denotes the competitors fighting in the ring is a unique attribute which cannot be found in any of his predecessors. Jim was recently fired by interim Raw general manager
John Laurinaitis from the capacity of ring side commentator.
