Well, it really depends on the sound that they were going for. Hendrix's stuff is mostly guitar-driver, you know? The guitar is the main instrument. Plus, Hendrix is a studio wizard, but also something of a perfectionist. Only time will tell.

Jimi Hendrix is the man but he plays guitar (very very well), not running back. Yes, it's Selvin Young and he is much faster (at running) than Jimi. Jimi is way cooler than the person who asked this question.
