Are high heels as uncomfortable to wear as they look? After a hour or so i was hearing "my feet hurt can we sit down now"

All right this is my question. Why buy new shoes for a party when you know the first time you put them on they are going to kill your feet. By the way they did look very nice and very expensive.

At the end of the night when we went to the residents bar in the hotel the floor was littered with Lady's shoes of all shapes and sizes
