Jimmy Lollie rated favourite for the Coral.co.uk Sprint
Jimmy Lollie gets the best odds for winning the Coral.co.uk Sprint at Hove in England on Thursday, March 29, 2012. A cash prize of £150 has been set for the triumphant greyhound.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 20:18 GMT and a total of six quality runner have lined up for it. Their names are as follows: Jimmy Lollie, Carden Bert, Zenas Jack, Two For Atanner, Says You Maeve and Pretty Chilly.
The runners will have to cover a race distance of 285 metres, which means that the start will be crucial. One of the best starters in today’s race is Jimmy Lollie, which is why the bookies have given him pretty decent odds.
S. Cahill’s trainee is a quality runner and has the ability to surprise his rivals with sheer speed. He has quite a lot of experience and it will be hard for the rest of the participants to match him today. He has been running at different venues and knows
how to adjust to such conditions.
In his most recent race, Jimmy Lollie finished runner up by quite a big margin. He was not the favourite to win that event and entered with a starting price of 7 to 2. Despite that, he managed to give a tough time to the rest of the participants and ended
up as runner up.
However, the brindle dog was rated favourite in his last outing at Hove and he did not disappoint at all, winning it comfortably. He will need a similar show in order to finish on top of the table today. He is the son of World Class out of Droopys Kara and
was born in August 2007.
Another one of S. Cahill’s trained runners, Carden Bert, has managed to win decent odds by the bookmakers. He is also a very good performer, but will need a special effort in order to finish on top of the table at Hove.
The second favourite hound has managed to win three out of his past five races, thus the bettors will definitely risk some money in his favour. He is the son of Brett Lee out of Bell Sensation and was born in June 2007.
The real battle will be amongst the top two favourites, as the rest of the participants are not in good flow at the moment.
