Really Tough call here...I'm going to have to say SRV. Page was and is still amazing and what not but I think SRV played with a lot more heart. When those notes bent on his guitar they seemed like extensions of his soul (example the opening l**k to The Sky is Crying). Jimmy played cleaner than Stevie but that's what made them both good Jimmy was extremely technical but Stevie just had that nitty gritty feeling that made you feel dirty but at the same time wish he'd play forever.

They are both good but I have to say SRV is better if you are talking about actual skill. SRV was better technically than Page, as evident in his music. However Page was an innovator at his time and pushed the boundaries of what could be done with an electric guitar.

However if you add Hendrix into the mix, he is better than both of them because he was skilled and he was an innovator, more so than Page and SRV.
