Alright, Ive been taking this jiu jitsu class in my town. It was going great up until one of the instructors started being a d**k to me. I really liked the class until that happened. I'm debating between myself if I should go back or not. I don't want to deal with his c**p, because every time this gets me all pissed. Id like to get back into jiu jitsu again, I don't want to deal with this instructors bs. All of the other guys in the class are really nice to me, but I feel like I cant learn when one of the instructors is doing this. Ive only been in it for about 3 months when I quit. What do all of you think I should do?

  1. um first talk to this guy in private, tell him how you feel then take it from there.

  2. why not discuss these issues with the other instructors in the class, see if they can apply there collective minds to resolve this problem to everybodys satisfaction.if no success move on .

  3. i agree with zenlife.

  4. what is he doing to you?

  5. that's part of the training my friend...that will toughen you up so you have to be resilient.  Don't let that deter you from training, unless of course he;s causing physical damage then that's a whole other issue.  You need to show him that you're tough mentally and his mind games and c**p won't work....

  6. Well I say you are probably waaaaaaaaay better than him, since you've done it for 3 months and he's done it for years.

    Just spar. durr

  7. Voice your concerns with the main leading instructor/coach if he or she cant resolve the situation so that you can resume jiu-jitsu comfortably and confidently ,then I'd suggest leaving for another school but don't dismiss jiu-jitsu by that incident if it transpires as not all schools are the same.

hope this helps, good luck and best wishes :)***
