Jml space bags - weighing luggage?

Do the use of jml space bags help ur luggage weigh less? I'm not over-logged with room and all my items fit esily into my suitcase - but they weigh 4kg over! I just wondered if i used the space bags would it free up some weight at all - as the air will be sucked out??? Cheers for all ur help guys - im one stressed little packer!!!

Not in the least, you will actually add the weight of the space bags to your already overweight suitcase.

The only way to make it weigh less is to remove some items.
