Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga bounced back from two set down to do away with former world number one Roger Federer in their quarterfinal match at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships in London, England on Wednesday, 29th
June.
The Frenchman toiled for almost three hours to secure a 3-6, 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 victory.

extending it to 3-0 on his next serve.
Although the Frenchman managed to put himself on the scoreboard in the fourth game, it was to no avail. From there on the pair continued to win on their serves with Tsonga never able to break the Swiss maestro allowing the latter
to clinch a 6-3 win in the first set.

down the line to clinch the tiebreaker 7-3, leading the set score 2-0.

a 6-4 victory and reducing the set score deficit to 1-2.
