Mixed Doubles experts Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen lived up to the billing and trounced Sudket Prapakamol-Saralee Thoungthongkam in semi-final round of BWF Superseries Finals on December 15, 2012.
The Danish campaigners showed unbeatable coordination and locked the honour with an impressive result of 21-19 and 21-13.
With this splendid straight-set victory, they setup their final clash with the Chinese pair Zhang Nan-Zhao Yunlei.
World Number six duo Joachim-Christinna will make every effort to remain invincible in this prestigious tournament.
They will employ the valuable experience of group stages where both partners looked completely on song.
In the semi-final round, the Danish shuttlers played with authoritative approach against Sudket-Saralee of Thailand and served notice of their potential.
Though, they took some time to get on right track in the opening game bit still managed to end this crucial segment in a favourable manner.
Joachim and Christinna remained at the lower end in the establishing rallies and their passiveness allowed the opposing team to establish a comfortable lead.
The twosome of Sudket and Saralee capitalised this opportunity and enjoyed an upper hand all the way to half time.
However, things changed dramatically in latter part of the game as their challengers showed a transformed character and tipped the scale in their favour.
At first, Joachim and Christinna levelled the score at 11-11 and then made a notable difference on the points table.
They maintained a decent lead until the final moments and finished this set with 21-19 margin on the board.

Initially, the Danish campaigners relished full benefits of their first set win and piled up a respectable total but then the Thai shuttlers also showed some spark and mounted pressure.
