The Germany national team manager hopes to have all his first team players fit ahead of the European Championships in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
Joachim Low fears that Bayern Munich’s progress in the UEFA Champions League might affect his team’s fitness and preparations for the European Championship later this year. The manager wants to take his full 23-member squad for
the competition which might not be possible if the Reds enter the finals in Europe.
Eight of Bayern’s first team players are also the first team regulars with the German national side and Low fears burn-out for majority of these stars. He admitted that a long domestic season will increase chance of injuries which
is the last thing Die Mannschaft need at the moment.
However, Low believes that the players will be jubilant and in good mood if they make it to the final which will eventually work in Germany’s favour. The tactician plans to take his finalised squad to Sardinia on May 11 and then
to the South of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Israel-c2925 on June 1 as a part of the preparations for the tournament.
"Basically, it would please me, of course, if Bayern get to the final. For the players, it would mean they would come to us with a good feeling to have reached the final and, of course, it would positive for us if they win. But
it would make things rather tight for us time wise and it would be ideal to take a full squad to the final preparations."
However, Low’s concerns might be helped by Bayern’s current form. The Reds are on the brink of leaving the European stage after losing 1-0 to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Basel-c39079 in the first-leg of the Champions League knock-out stage. A loss or even a draw
in the second-leg will see the Munich giants crash out of Europe’s premier club competition.
Germany are placed in Group B alongside, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 and will open their campaign with the game against the Portuguese on Saturday, June 09.
