Joachim Low: Michael Ballack will no longer be part of the German national team
German national team coach Joachim Low has confirmed that former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 Michael Ballack will be no longer part of the national squad. The manager revealed that the player has accepted his decision to give young players a chance
to build a squad for next year’s European Championships in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983.
Low insisted that the midfielder has had a glittering career and has been an influential part of the side for the past many years which cannot be forgotten. Ballack has been facing injury problems in the past few months because
of which he has been away for both Bayer Leverkusen and Germany.
The tactician revealed that his conversations with Ballack were very positive and he insisted that the midfielder completely understands the decision taken. The coach added that the decision is surely in everyone’s interest and
will benefit the national side.
“In our conversations, I had the impression that Michael definitely understands our vision. Therefore in everyone's interest [there] is now an honest and clear decision attached,” the manager was quoted as saying.
Joachim Low also had words of appreciation for the German international, claiming that the midfielder has been a loyal servant of Die Mannschaft for the past decade and has huge contributions in the success of the team in the past
few years. He added that the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 player was a great leader and has given his all which can be witnessed with the team’s performances in the 2006 World Cup and the European Championships in 2008.
