The German national team manager warns his team against complacency ahead of their international friendly against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899.
Joachim Low is wary of Franck Ribery’s threat and has admitted that it will not be easy when Germany go out against France for their high-profile international friendly on Wednesday, February 29. The manager reckons that the Bayern
Munich winger will definitely be a threat for his side and the Germans must be cautious.
The tactician was talking in the wake of Ribery’s match-winning performance at the weekend against Schalke which led Bayern to the second spot in the league standings. The winger managed a brace against Huub Stevens’ men, leading
his side to a much needed win and brightening their chances of lifting this season’s Bundesliga crown.
Low opines that the 28-year-old has regained his form recently and undoubtedly will spearhead the French attack in Bremen. The boss mentioned that Ribery has always been a trump card both for his club and the country and therefore
the crowd could be in for some decent entertainment.
While talking to reporters ahead of the friendly, the former Fenerbahce tactician further added:
"He's already played well in a huge amount of matches in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. He can dominate the one-on-one situations almost to perfection. It wasn't just against Schalke that he was strong, agile and threatening in front of goal. Ribery
has been one of the key players at Bayern for years."
On the other hand, Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lars-Bender-c21663, also showered praise on Ribery. He stressed on the importance of stopping the Frenchman from pressing forward if Germany are to ensure a result in their favour.
"We all know about Franck Ribery and we know he can decide games by himself. He's one of their best players and we will have to be very careful with him if he gives one of his best performances," Bender concluded.
This is Germany’s only international game before the commencement of the European Championships in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bastian-Schweinsteiger-c7374, Philipp
Lahm, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Per-Mertesacker-c29680. All these players have been ruled out due to injury concerns.
