and scored lately. It was important that we showed a reaction after [being pulled back to] 1-1,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, the coach defended his decision to make three changes for the crucial clash against the Ethniki. He insisted that the team needed some fresh players for the game after three wins in a row.
“It was a day of changes. After three wins in a row, I had the feeling I had to change something and bring some fresh air into the team. It was the time to change something,” he concluded.
