The German national team manager has voiced his concern over the time at which the Cup final has arrived and is hopeful there are no injury concerns.
Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund will contest in the German Cup final on Saturday, May 12, at the Olympiastadion in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786
at the Allianz Arena.
Low has expressed his frustration on the dates of the finals as every other team prepares for the European championship which starts next month in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753
which is touted as the ‘Group of Death’.
The manager expressed his disappointment on the late dates set by the governing body for these finals. He insisted that the players have already had a tiring season and they will have to join the training camps right after they
contest in these fixtures for the Euro 2012.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 boss added that there can be injury concerns as the teams play in a high profile fixture. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund constitute most of the Die Mannschaft squad and any injury ahead of the European
championship would be a major blow.
“Of course I'm very divided, because some of my players could join me being very disappointed. The disappointment goes away, I know, but it takes several days to digest it all, while fear of injuries is a natural concern. There
will be hard challenges, so you can't rule anything out. But my hope is that no one arrives badly hurt,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Joachim Low claimed that he will only have 10 days or so to work with his full squad which is disappointing. He admitted that he has no choice but to pray that all players return without any injury.
“I will also only have one-and-a-half weeks to work with my entire squad. That all said, you have to live with these uncertainties as a coach. I have no choice, I will not complain,” he concluded.
