German national team manager Joachim Low has insisted that Mario Gotze would prefer a move abroad rather than going to Bayern Munich. He claimed that the youngster has immense talent and is a player to watch in the future. The
tactician also stated that the Bundesliga has become heavily competitive over the past few years which is good for the national team.
Bayern Munich’s President Uli Hoeness had recently claimed that the club would want to go for the Dortmund youngster once the season ends. He stated that Gotze would be a valuable addition to Bayern Munich’s squad and a possible
transfer could be worked upon in the next transfer window.
Low insisted that Borussia Dortmund is a fantastic team and they proved their metal when they won the Bundesliga last season. He added that those days are surely gone when Bayern bought any player it wanted as the other teams have
become stronger.
“I think that the days are gone when FC Bayern could simply take away a player from Dortmund. Dortmund are quite competitive,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The DFB trainer also commented on the competition between strikers Miroslav Klose and Mario Gomez. He claimed that both players have shown immense form and character and are on par. He added that Klose has always been in great
form for the national team and Gomez’s goal scoring ability cannot be doubted as he was the highest goal scorer in the League in the previous campaign.
