The German national team manager has called on the possible squad members for Euro 2012, for an upcoming marketing event at the end of this month.
With the European championship coming up later this year in June, the German Football Association wants its players to take part in marketing campaigns. The manager has recently invited 25 players for an upcoming event which will
take place on the 29th and the 30th of this month.
It is believed that this invitation is a hint to what the final squad for the upcoming competition to would be. The DFB has confirmed that all of the players who were part of Die Mannschaft squad last year have been called up for
the marketing event despite their Bundesliga commitments.
This event is a promotional activity for the European Championships and possibly the final squad which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miroslav-Klose-c26049. Both the individuals
are busy with their respective clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, but will definitely make it to the final squad if they are able to keep their fitness.
According to the statement released by the official DFB Website, it is stated:
"All of the players who were included in the squad for the international
matches in November 2011."
On the other hand, DFB general manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Oliver-c28477 Bierhoff, has shown gratitude to the Bundesliga for allowing its players to take part in the event. He added that it is a huge favour and considered this get-together an important
thing ahead of the last international meeting against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 before the start of the European competition.
"I am very grateful to the Bundesliga for enabling us to schedule this during the season. It is a huge favour since the marketing duties ahead of a European Championship always take up time and have now been able to bundle these
all together without it interfering with the sporting preparations for an international match," Bierhoff concluded.
Germany are drawn in Group B, alongside the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984. The DFB Eleven will open their campaign against Portugal on June 9.
