The German national team manager is calm over the growing list of injuries despite being just four months from the start of the European championship.
Joachim Low is confident that all the players will be available before the start of the competition and has refused to push the panic button. Germany have been recently dealt with a fresh injury blow. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Per-Mertesacker-c29680
injured his ankle during his team’s 2-1 win over Sunderland in the latest English Premier League game.
Apart from Mertesacker, Bayern Munich’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 are all on the injury list.
Consequently, the above mentioned players have been ruled out of the International Friendly against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 on February 29. However, Low reckons that this could prove to be a blessing in disguise for his players as it would keep
them fresh ahead of such the major tournament. He opined that all four of them would be ready prior to announcement of the squad so there is nothing to worry about.
While addressing the reporters on the injuries, the former Stuttgart tactician further added: "There is no panic when we hear of a new injury. The clubs need to worry more than I do, at the moment. For us, we can still cope."
The Friendly game against France is the only competitive fixture available for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 to test their bench strength ahead of the event coming up in June. Low has the opportunity to test some of his other options in absence of the
four players before he announces the probable squad for the trip to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
Germany find themselves in Group B alongside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753. It is being called the ‘Group of Death’ as all teams drawn are capable of progressing to the next round. Die Mannschaft will play Portugal in their
opening game on June 9, whereas France will open their campaign against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 on June 11.
