Joachim Low praises http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 clash- International News
Just a few hours ahead of the much-anticipated friendly international against the Netherlands, Joachim Low has spoken in favour of his team. He hailed the Germans on maintaining consistency throughout the year and urged them to make a telling effort against
the Clockwork Orange.
Germans are all set to host their local rivals, Netherlands, on Tuesday, November 15, at Imtech Arena. The tickets have already been sold out and the German team is expected to have jam packed stadium backing them up.
He regarded the clash against Netherlands as a ‘must-win’ for his side despite the game’s friendly nature. The manager urged his players to try ending the year on a high note by defeating Holland, a feat they haven’t been able to achieve since 1996.
The tactician reserved praise for his team on staying consistent throughout the year and going unbeaten for the past 13 games. He also expressed pleasure at Germany’s hundred percent record during the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
Low's Germany became the first ever German side to qualify for the finals without dropping a single point in the qualification round.
While talking to reporters ahead of Tuesday’s game, the 51-year-old, further mentioned:
"This can be a great finale to a successful year. The Dutch are very well trained, are perfectly automated, and hardly come under pressure. Especially when it comes to training, the Netherlands are still hard to beat. I expect a very aggressive and interesting
game."
The tactician told that his team are well prepared for tonight’s game and would certainly turn the tables on Bert van Marwijk’s men. He is of the opinion that should his men could put in the same kind of effort as they have been doing throughout the year,
Germany will most probably get better of the Clockwork Orange.
He concluded the talks by saying, "For a young team we were especially very consistent. To win the entire [Euro 2012] qualification campaign is not a given. We have also continued to integrate young players and we developed our play and tactics. So I am
very pleased with this year, even though we still have to refine details."
