The German national team manager has insisted that Spain will remain the team to beat in the upcoming European competition despite Germany’s smart form.
German national team boss, Joachim Low has claimed that Spain remain favourite for the coming Euro championship despite his side being touted to win the competition. He mentioned that the reigning European champions will definitely
be a threat to other side’s chances and should not be taken lightly.
Low mused that the recently concluded UEFA Champions League semi-final will not have any impact on the competition as the players will be different and same will be the case with the combinations.
The tactician admitted that the German side dominated the Spanish champions in both the legs and same was the case in the first game where http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and dumped them out of the competition.
While speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the tactician further added: "I don't think Bayern's win will have any influence on Euro 2012. There will be different players and expectations. Spain remain the favourites. You have to
play some very good football to beat them.”
On the other hand, he also commented on his team’s development in recent times. He admitted that Germany might have the best players compared to other sides but still urged his team not to be complacent and underestimate any team
as each side will be tough to beat in such big competition.
The former Stuttgart manager echoed that Die Mannschaft will definitely face stiff competition from the start of the competition where they will play two of the tournament favourites, Portugal and the Netherlands from Group B.
"We have really matured as a team and we have shown that we can play at a high level. There are more favourites, though. At least six, and two of them are in the same group as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984,” Low concluded.

announce his 23-men squad on May 29.
