Joachim Low reveals he will give an opportunity to some new players against Poland
German national team manager Joachim Low has revealed that he will give an opportunity to young players in the upcoming International Friendly against Poland on Tuesday. He claimed that there is great depth in the squad and he wants some more players to
show their ability against the Polish side.
Germany have already qualified for the next year’s Euro 2012 in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Austria-c2844 with a staggering 6-2 score line to confirm qualification for next year’s tournament and will now
face Euro 2012 hosts http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983 in a friendly.
Low claimed that his team is always ready to make experiments by giving some new players a chance. He insisted that the team is well developed and strong which is why he wants to strengthen every position with the best possible players.
“We're always trying to develop further. In comparison to earlier in my career I have a lot more quality players at my disposal. We can adequately cover every position on the pitch. I also now have an opportunity to try a few of the other players out,” he
was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philipp-Lahm-c29929 insisted that his side is eager to win the match against Poland as they want to continue with the good performances. He hailed the team and admitted that there is a lot of competition for places which is good for the
side.
However, he refused to count Germany as the favourites to win next year’s Euro 2012 as he still feels that there is a long way to go.
“We definitely want to win this match. The competition for places is greater than ever. Everyone has to fight. No one can assume that their spot is safe. It's still too early to be discussing winning the title. The team can still improve further,” the Bayern
Munich man claimed.
