Joachim Schurrle has claimed that his son Andre Schurrle will be a huge success at Bayer Leverkusen. He stated that the player has always been a fan of Werkself and now that he has finally got the chance to play for them, Schurrle
will prove himself. He claimed that Andre has always looked up to Rudi Voller and added that it will be an excellent experience for the youngster.
Andre Schurrle joined Bayer Leverkusen after a breakthrough season with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 in this summer’s transfer window. The player joined Werkself for an estimated fee if 8 million Euros and a pre-season agreement was reached between
the two clubs in September.
The German international was a star performer for Mainz last season and scored an impressive 15 goals in 33 appearances in the Bundesliga along with five assists. His excellent performances for the club earned him a national team
call-up and he made his debut for Die Mannschaft in November last year.
Joachim claimed that it had always been a dream for his son to play at Bayer Leverkusen. He admitted that Rudi Voller has already ensured ample opportunities for the striker and is satisfied with his place in the side.

Joachim played down rumours that Andre has disappointed the Mainz faithful by moving to Leverkusen. He insisted that there is no jealousy and the FSV Mainz truly understand the decision of the player was on sporting grounds.
“After the last home game of the season, many old acquaintances have said, 'Hope to see you again soon' There's no jealousy. Everyone knew in Mainz that Andre was not to last long. But you have honoured it, as the boy struggled
to the end of Mainz,” he concluded.
Andre Schurrle will start the Bundesliga campaign against his former club FSV Mainz on Sunday, August 7.
