http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivan-c17215 Ramis got the hosts in front with barely ten minutes on the board, signalling a prolific start to the match. However, it was Abdel Barrada’s night who went on to score a well timed brace, wrapping up the match before the half-time whistle.
Barrada scored his first from a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dudu-c11699 Aouate’s net. His match winning goal came on the stroke of half-time again came from a deflection. Pau Cendros was in the Moroccan internationals shot, as it steered
into the goal.
Caparros was reasonably unhappy with his team’s defeat in front of the home crowd. The manger lamented his side’s inability to control the ball after taking the lead within the first quarter hour.
“We were too relaxed in the opening 15 minutes but Getafe knew how to control the game, particularly in the second half,” he complained.
“We knew we could cause them problems and we got the first goal, but we didn’t take advantage of the opportunities we created,” he added.
The experienced Spanish manger will lead his men out against Sporting Gijon in their Copa del Rey fixture. Caparros stated that they will have to get the defeat out of their system to get a positive result in the year’s final match.
“Hopefully we can get this out of our system at Sporting Gijon in the return leg of the Copa Del Rey.”
Luis Garcia, on the other hand, was happy with the performance of his men. Analysing the proceedings of the match, he stated that they were the better team going into the break; any other result would have been unfair on his team.
“We were superior and if we had gone into half-time drawing then it would have been unfair because we dominated the game. I’m very happy for my boys.”
With the win, Getafe climb into the top half of La Liga table, while Mallorca slip to 14th.
