I work with a co worker and he is a person that I feels that he does not care about his job. We trained him as a clerk at a medical center and we told him how and what things are done. He has been here six months and still acts like it's his first day. For example, he looks for a certain folder but when he can't find it, he throws it to the side and I end up looking for it. He knows that he is supposed to look through the whole place before giving up but he doesn't. We told him dozens of times and he also plays on the computerwhen he is not supposed to. The only reason he got the job was because of his older wiser brother works at the same place. What should I do? I don't want to tattle on him because then I will look l fool. When ever we say something, he just doesn't listen. The supervisor doesn't do anything about the problem because she is afraid that she will be made a fool since she hired him.I am so sick of watching over this guy's shoulder over every thing he does because he does it wrong.I want to try and attempt to talk to him tomarrow, take him aside and just tell him how his job reflects on patients, medical staff and everyone else. I have only been there at the job fotwo years but I done this job before for six years. I am afraid that I will get into trouble if I tell someone over my supervisor's head. Please help me make the right decision about what to do with this guy?
