Job Hunt Question/ All Help appreciated

Question

ok so how do you convince someone who is getting to their 50's to get a job to support a family, who has no high school education? Also what jobs could that person get with no diploma who is 50 years old?? Seriously all people redaing this question please help thanks!!!

The holidays are coming so stores will be hiring like crazy, try Wal-Mart or Target.  Just let that person know that the jobs are out there and people will hiring soon and remind them of their responsibilities for the family and themselves.  Take no excuses from them!  Tell them you'll help them get a job if they are willing to do their part and follow through!  Start talking to your friends to let them know they are looking for a job--word of mouth is good too!

This is a very difficult situation both for the person who needs to find work and for you because you have to give them the push.  

Luckily there are some resources you may be able to tap into.  Though the resources are drying up because of the bad economy, most state governments provide training resources for chronically unemployed persons and should be able to help find educational resources for helping them get a G.E.D.

Also although most of the jobs are geared toward younger workers, snagajob.com is a great resource for entry level positions.

Hi, I really wish you good luck. You can try to go on Craigslist.com and search for the job that fits what you're looking for. You can also look around your town for cashier jobs in markets or at a mall maybe. There could also be job postings along street poles. You could also check the newspaper delivering that works. I'm fourteen and I work as the morning paper boy and I get a good pay check, most of the time. But you should try some of there things. Hopefully, this has helped and best of luck with your situation. :]
