I am a 14 year old boy who is looking for a job like working in a shop or something like that what is the minimum age for this?

chik-fil-a is the only place i know that hires 14 year olds.

for most jobs 15 or 16, but 14 year olds can find jobs as well, their just aren't as many open for them

Depends.

If it's independantly owned, it's up to the owner. You could probably land a job there.

If it's like a franchise or something like that (McDonalds, Clothing Stores, etc) the age is probably 16.

Its a very good think that a boy of just 14 years have got the feeling of hardworking in this so compititive world.let me tell you that working is a very good think and if you think that you are capable enough to do a ask a job than you should not ask but simply go through the way and the other think is that the minimum age is above 11 year but again the thing comes is the courage the spirite that how much you have. Oppositely if you are 50 50 than you should not take this risk and consentrate on your studies to make them your working shop.

The only thing I've ever been offered legally was a job at gardening shops, my friend works at a hobby store.  I'm sure you could find stuff pretty easily, but you need to go around and call/ask them or something over asking us.

to get that ya gotta be like 16 or sumthin. but i have a paper route i get get paid like 80 bucks every other week...it enuf for good smoke nd thats all i rle care about

try a pizza/sub shop i dont know where your from but the only places that hire 14yr olds by me are pizza/sub shops.

you do not have to be 15+ to get a job.  try going to your school guidence consler because you need a school work release anyway to work 14-16 . I also bet he/she knows all the local places hiring!
