Job Interview, What do i answer?

Question

Ok i am Little Scared, never had a Job before besides a Summer Jobs and i am a College Student in Business. And Need help with these Questions.......

What do people most often criticize about you?

How do you evaluate success?

Why us and not another place?

Your Strength and weakness?

I just need to study different Answers. Mainly i will say what comes to heart. anyone have great Answers? Thanks

Question 1 ~ you should really ask someone who knows you.I'd make it quite light.I would evaluate success by asking myself am i happy or not.Could i be doing any better?Is this benefiting someone?

I don't know what your exact job will be,but just say 'I'd like to work here as it seems friendly,i think i could go far,the people,anything really. And the final question is entirely down to you.My strengths;Compassion, thoughtful,polite,friendly,optimisic and empathetic.My weakness; time keeping,vanity,too quiet.

its amazing how stupid ppl are with there answers.. here i will give you an example and help you out..

What do people most often criticize about you?

People most critize me for being too nice, there was this one incident where this homless man was begging for money, I gave him a $10 instead of the norm $1, my friend told me that she later saw the same homless guy at the corner buying illegal drugs.. In my oppinion you can never be too nice.. (note: you do not want to say a thing that will cost you your job.. just use a skill that would be needed for your job like in retail, being nice is good thing, especially if your working with ppl!)

How do you evaluate success?

I evaluate success by hardwork, determination and willingness, I tend to do the best by doing just that (make sure you always turn it around to sell you, which is basically what an interview is about.. to see if YOUR the right person for there job)

Why us and not another place?

Im intrested in the benifetes that your company offers, the pay is perfect for me and yady yady yady yady (make sure you did your reasearch about the company and list all the positive things about it.. i started some of it)

Your Strength and weakness?

my strength is that im an over achiever and Im very organized, my weakness is that im a perfectioness and spend to much time trying to making sure I get it untill I perfect it to the best of my ability.

and thats about it.. make sure you always turn around the question to make it into a positive ALWAYS remember that your selling yourself to the company.. think of it as them wanting to buy you and you trying to tell them why they should buy you.. its one big ole investment lolz

Just go with the truth...that's the best answer you could give the interviewer.  You don't need other people to answer these interview questions for you because they are not your words.  You need to come across genuine in your interview, otherwise you'll seem a bit shallow.  Just be yourself, answer each question with as much honesty and professionalism as you can and you should be just fine.

I work in HR and I can always tell when someone is giving me a "canned" answer.  A canned answer is an answer that the interviewee either got from someone else or practiced it so much until it doesn't sound like they are telling the truth.  Don't give canned answers in your interview, or the interviewer will know and you might not get the job.
