Job Opportunity at Primerica?

Okay so i have done a lot of research on primerica. I am looking into starting working there. I think the reason that people believe this is a scam is because they go in with the intentions of it being a real job. I understand that you have to pay money to get your insurance liscence and then you work on your own. My main question is how do you find new people all the time? Do you work in their office or do you do everything from home? I mean obviously people are making money or there would be no way for them to stay in business. How much money do you make? I am just thinking of trying this out for just some extra money... I am not expecting to make a 10,000 dollars a month or anything rediculas. I just need to know If it would be making a good amount of money for just working part-time (what i mean as a good amount of money is what you would make at a part-time job maybe a little more) I just dont want to waste my time. I can pay for the insurance test, so is this a waste of time?

I went to one of their meetings and I was a bit leery of them.  

It seems a little pyramid because it's not just about what you sell, but it's about how many other people you pull in to also work at Primerica.   I'm sure it works for some people, but I'd just say go get a job at a regular insurance company.  You'll be doing the same thing, and some will pay you a salary in addition to a commission.

$500 a month??? That's it? You are definitely with the wrong company.

Although a lot of the online jobs ARE scams, there are some that are not. Do your research. And don't base it on whether or not there is an upfront fee. I paid and upront fee for the work I do, and I tripled it in 9 days. And on top of that I still get paid off my customers. And if you have any questions, you can go to any Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com, or Borders and pick up INC 500 or Success from Home (July 2007) which we are featured in.

This is not a scam, the reason people believe it is, is because you go from friends house to relatives selling their products.  This is a sells position and you work from home on your own and trying to get clients.  This is the hardest part. Also, because they make you purchase one product first before you go into investing.

I've been doing Primerica for about one year and i got in just to make an extra 500 $$$$ a month on the side, I'm now full time and i quit my teaching job and its the best decision I've ever made. You don't have to go door to door like one of the ladies from above said, most of the customers you help out are more than glad to give you referrals and you just work off that. It is the greatest opportunity to make some part-time income. But eventually you'll start making more money than your full time job, if you work hard at it.
