Ok,I put in a Dominos Pizza application a little over 2 wks ago.I avoided calling them to check on the app because I was told that was useless. So this past Wednesday I stopped by Dominos to speak with the manager. He said he had like 50 applications&he just hired two people&he hadn't decided if he was going to hire 1 more.He took my name&said since I stopped by,he would keep me in mind when he went through all the apps incase he decided to hire someone.Well this was 3 days ago&I haven't heard anything since.Should I stop by there again or just forget about because he probably won't hire me OR should I just wait a little longer for him to call?

The thing is,I need a job within the next 2 wks or so,so I can't be waiting too long for a call.

  1. Well it won't hurt to go and visit again will it? Since he hasn't rung you anyway what have you go to lose? It will show that you are really keen.

  2. It'll take longer than that to be hired somewhere else (drug tests etc.) but persistence is something a manager is looking for, because most people don't just turn in an application at one place, they would do many, so of those other 50, some already found jobs elsewhere.  You know what they say, "The third time's a charm!"  Good luck.

  3. start looking for another job. It's obvious domino's doesn't want you, so forget about them and look somewhere else.  Their giving you the run-around, and the manager lied to your face (they do it all the time)

    Too bad (for them).
