You could say that you want to make some money for school, that will make you look good.  You could also say something like, you want to learn about a different kind of work environment (fast food, working with people, etc).  They ask you this to get an idea of what kind of person you are and where you are headed in life.  Have fun!  I used to work at Dairy Queen too.
