Job burger king?

I want to work at Burger king, but I can only do it for like one month and a few days, and it's supposed to be a summer job but it took me awhile to find one. Would that be considered temporary or a summer job? Would they still hire me knowing that i may quit in that short time because i have to go back to college.

Fast food jobs are easy to get because most people are very short timers. I wouldn't even mention it to the hiring manager. I know it's dishonest--but I've had to do it. You never know, you might like it and decide to stay on as a part time employee.

be up front and honest with them maybe they can work you on weekends.

you should go ahead and work at burger king. I just started working at McDonald's and like you i have to start school in mid august but I'm playing dumb for now. if they don't ask, don't say anything. they haven't asked me anything yet. plus most fast food restaurants have a lot of young workers and I'm pretty sure that the managers know that they will not be lifelong employees.

Or like my mom told me, tell them that you'll be staying off-campus and you'll be a day student.

The fast food industry is aware of the needs of its younger employees, and accept short term employment as a way of life.  Many allow the same employee to work only the summers.

Go in and play dumb.  Don't lead on that you are only doing it temporary.  Look at it from their vantage point, would you want to invest the time and effort to train someone for them to leave?  Make it seem like this is the best job in the world.
