  1. Try looking on Craig's List under your local area.  Many employers like to post on there because it is free to do so.

  2. I am 15 as well and I just started working at Giant 1-2 months ago. It is really fun, you get to socialize with your employees and customers all day! Also, try a local golf course (I'm working there too!) All you have to do is drive around a gold cart and bring people drinks. Funn!

  3. You can check the classified ads in your local newspaper.  Your age limits you, as many larger companies can't hire anyone under 18.  Your best bet will be the smaller, individually owned businesses in your area.  If there is a place that you go often, just ask if they need help!  Your beauty shop may need someone to keep the appointment books or sweep up after cuts.  You could work behind the counter somewhere as well.  I think that smaller grocery stores like Food Lion are also more willing to hire minors, and they tend to need workers pretty frequently.

Really, the best way to find out is to ask around.  Good luck!

  4. Best job I had as a teenager through high school was caddying. You work in the mornings, you're home by 2, 3 o'clock, and you got cash in your pocket. I worked all summer and weekends while in school and the weather was still decent. Great college job too. Other than that, I would look in craigs list, your local pennysaver, or h**l, go into town and just start filling out job applications. Remember, nobody's just gonna hand you a job, you have to go out and find one yourself.
