I am 17 and I had my first summer job over the summer doing Clerical work such as billing patients, answering phones, etc. and since the summer is about to end and I am about to return to high school in sep. I would really like to keep the money comming in since I will be applying to colleges this fall and spring and that gets very costly. So my question is With a job like what I had over the summer will anyone hire me, like if I wanted to work in a store like I don't know wall-mart or barnes and nobles or bath and body works?

  1. yas

  2. don't do project payday or those other internet money making sites (i asked a question on YA about them before... i don't think it's a good idea, just trying to spread the word)

umm i think you can get one of those types of jobs, i don't know for sure, i'm not good at getting jobs but yeah, from what i think, yeah, good luck

  3. Your past work experience should be able to help you get any of the jobs you mentioned.  I also think that volunteering is a great thing to have on your job and school applications and you can't go wrong with the learning experience.  Also, sometimes if you volunteer someplace, they will be more willing to hire you if you've already been volunteering there.  I realize this doesn't help a ton with the money situation, but if it helps you land a better job in the future....it's sometimes worth being broke for awhile to get a better job in the future.  Just my opinion of course. :)

  4. Sure they will, you have some experience already on Customer Relations, that can get you the Job at any of those stores. I think being 17 you still need consent from your parent/guardian.

Advice, don't fall for those "Make money online" scams, they make you pay upfront and you never see the money.

    Good luck.
