Job interview Question in sales...

I have an interview coming up soon with a very high end rug company who sells rugs up to $17,000. I have never worked as a sales associate and know nothing about the profession. When I turned my application in and sat down for a quick interview, the lady didn't seem to mind that I had no experience at all. I am worried I won't do all that well in this profession and am curious why they would want someone with no experience..also if i could get any help or pointers on what to say during my interview to get this high paying job... it would be greatly appreciated! thanks

  1. they are ok with hiring an entry level salesperson.  they probably have staff on standby to help you out when you're in a pinch anyways.  as long as you have the drive and you want to make more than 17k, i.e. you want to make 40k.  then take a chance at it.  sales has its ups and downs but is very lucrative if you're good it.
