  1. ive got an interview tomorrow and im wearing option 1 (but not really high heels)

  2. Well if I was interviewing you, I would rather you wear option one than option two.

I say this because option 1 looks more professional.

  3. I think you should wear option two.. some points though.

1] make sure your jeans are not ripped or torn and that they look clean cut and smart.

2] make sure you can walk confidently in heels and nothing too dressy obviously.

3] wear a smart shirt so that you don't look too casual.

    =)

  4. Dont wear high heels, shoes with a kitten heel would be fine, or even flats. just look neat, and smart minimal make-up, dont do to much with your hair, keep it simple. trousers and a shirt.

    good luck!

  5. High heels are a bit of a no no at job interviews.  I would wear low heels if you can and smart trousers instead of jeans.  Good luck!

  6. Even though you're not going for a job in a corporate environment, jeans still have no place in an interview.

I would go with Option One.

You say you didn't get the job with Ryan Air - but it's unlikely that it solely came down to what you did or didn't wear!  If you do think that your outfit influenced the outcome, then why?  I am not meaning to be rude - remember I can't see you - I am just thinking of possible reasons.  Was your outfit clean (smelling, too!) and ironed nicely?  Was your skirt long enough - you don't want to appear S****y!  Ditto for your shirt ... was it too tight, or see-through?  Were your shoes cleaned and polished?  Was the heel not too high ... again, heels that are too high can be S****y.  What about colours ... sometimes bright colours don't do well in interviews.

EDIT:  I'm interested to see other's responses saying that high heels are a no-no!  They are not!  I am a recruiter and I view flats as being too casual.  Low heels are fine depending on your build - if you're a bit on the dumpy side they can make you appear even more so.  But high heels work for everyone.  Not too high because it can come off S****y if you're wearing seven-inch stilettos, and of course you need to be able to walk in them.  But a nice, smart, business-like high heel is good.

  7. for any interview you should turn up smartly dressed. Depending on the interviewer, jeans are definitely not appropriate. A pencil skirt can seem too flirtatious especially if you are sitting down and it reveals too much thigh. High heels are also a no no if you cannot walk in them without looking as if you are about to fall over. Keep it neutral with a conservative air - not too casual and not too "night out". A smart shirt with tailored trousers are always good and medium heels suit most interview situations. You should feel comfortable and don't fuss with your clothes as you are talking - it will show you are not concentrating on the questions. Good luck

  8. I'd go for smart  black trousers white shirt casual look

  9. Pencil skirt, shirt. low heels

  10. Heels are a definite NO when going for an interview - especially for a job when you will be on your feet all day.

I am only 5ft myself.  In my opinion anyone who wears heals needs their head read.

  11. Don't go with option 1 then. I would say wear smart black trousers and a nice top to go with it, then you can't go wrong really. Good luck! x

  12. use the ryan air clothes again this time you will get your money back oo the old jokes are just great!
