Job interview tommorow?

Question

I will have my job interview tomorrow

I will work as a cashier at a clothing store

I am 16 should I hand in my Thank you letter for the interview

If yes

Should I give it right after the interview?

I would mail it to the hiring manager right after the interview.  If there are a lot of candidates applying for the position it will give the hiring manager a reason to look at your application again.

Ive never heard of giving a thank you letter for an interview?? Ive worked in retail and as a cashier before. I think its more important to make a good impression by smiling, looking the guy/girl in the eye and shaking hands firmly. And thanking them in person for the opportunity in a sincere but natural, confident, flowing way. Working in retail is like acting. Be confident and make it look natural even if you're afraid. Presentation is important: Dress like the other employees or maybe put a little more effort in. Dont be smelly - hygene is important. Beware that tattoos, facial hair and jewlery can turn a potential employer off so try to read their mind and play it safe with less accessories if unsure. I once worked for a chick who chucked out a girls resume just coz she had a large silver ring on... When I got that job I wore no jewlerey and took my faded nailpolish off a la naturele. Paid off
