Job opportunites for a girl that is 14?

Question

I was wondering if anyone new of any places that gives job positions to 14 year olds? i know that it kinda young but i hav to earn i profit somehow! let me know a.s.a.p.! If you need specifics just email me!

Find places that do something you are interested in - they hire all ages if  eager to learn. If you like boats, then try the Marina.  You can get a letter from your school,  ask at the Town Hall for a work permit at age 14, you can show it to prospective employers and this will enhance your chances.

Also if there's any colleges, military base, police or fire stations near you, who need part time assistance.  A letter of recommendation from someone political in your area would be a big help too.

Catering companies for special events maybe?

I just turned 15 a month ago and that opened up a whole bunch of job oppertunities for me. In my area, no one would hire at 14, only 15 on up. One job I was able to find at 14 was only a summer job, but it paid a fair amount of cash.. It was detasseling. You might be able to work for your parents or neighbors, but that is about it.. Sorry.

I'd say your best bet would be to go for a fast food restaurant like McDonald's or some thing like that. You could also try to get a job at a place like a hometown grocery store such as Marsh or Kroger. I wouldn't try Wal-mart at 14 because those places can get a little rough if you know what i mean.

Tim Hortons is the most liable place to hire 14 year olds.

I'm fourteen too, and I work two reffing jobs in both hockey and soccer. If you're the sporty type they are very well paying and let you have lots of free time!
