Job question. Please help!?

Ok. I had a second interview the other day with an assisted living agency for a social worker's position.(I have a B.S. in criminal justice, not social work) At one point towards the end, the woman I was interviewing with asked me if one day next week, if I'd be interested in coming in for a couple of hours to see how things work. Basically to get a feel to see if I'd like this type of work. Is this a good sign? I really want the job, and was just curious if it sounds like I've got a shot at this. Any ideas?

  1. Sounds like you got it to me.  Good luck!

  2. Most of what you describe sounds favorable!  (Sorry if that sounded like a Magic 8 Ball answer!)

If it were me, I'd feel like I got it!  Don't get too up, though - if you don't get it, you want to stay positive and look further.  Don't get down about it if you are rejected.  You sound intelligent and confident; always stay there!

    BEST OF LUCK!

  3. it' a good sign. the job may not be exactly what you're looking for, but it's a job and jobs are hard to come by now. you've got nothing to lose but a couple hours.

  4. It sounds like you have a very good chance.  Best of luck!

  5. It seems you got the job. It never happen to me that they invited me to see what they were doing to see if i liked it. .

  6. Sounds like she wants you for the job .  good luck!

  7. of course its a good sign it sounds like u have a really good chance of getting it

every job i have ever got (about 7) does this.....they never tell u that u have the job, they just say "well when can you come in to do some paperwork and show u what the job consists of" but they never say congratulations you are hired

  8. I'd say you got it in the bag. GOOD LUCK!!!
