I am very good at problem solving and trouble shooting. I love to learn. I am very diligent and I have a great work ethic. I enjoy helping others. I have exceptional hearing. What I don't know are all my options for employment and if I need to go back to college or not.

  1. If you enjoy problem solving and troubleshooting you may be fit for a mechanic or computer tech (basically a mechanic who doesn't get dirty! LOL). I'm an IT consultant and although it could be stressful at times, it is very satisfying to fix and solve a problem. In order to be a mechanic or an IT consultant you pretty much just need experience (no schooling). To prove you know that you know you stuff, you have to get certified and pass certifications. School can be handy for this, but if you are an excellent self-learner you can benefit from self-help books that prep you for the exams with hands-on-labs.

Good luck to you, I know how "fun" life can be when you are trying to figure out "what you want to be when you grow up."

  3. Well that's a pretty broad spectrum, what I would suggest is first starting w/what you like to do, or think you might want to do, or what kind of environment you want to work in.  That or google some career counseling sites.  Check out some of these sites, they tell you more about jobs, the industry, educational requirements, etc.
