Question

i have a part time job. I asked to get more hours and they havent given me those hours. i am totaly broke at this point and am wondering if i should look for a new job. They only offer me more hours if someone else cant come in at the last second. should i quit and look for a better job??

Most of this is common sense. Seek new employment on your days off and don&#039;t quite until something new comes along.

if your having money issues dont quit until you get another one.  most part time positions are part time only and can only give so many hours without having to make the position full time.  If you cant pay your bills on what your making definetely start looking for another job.  Check with the local unemployment office and temp agencies in the area.  Good Luck!

I&#039;ve been in the same situation before. I would voice it to your manager again and be honest and explain your dilemma. If he/she can&#039;t make it happen, there are always better opportunities elsewhere.

In the meantime, it never hurts to see what else is out there, but make sure you wait until you have another job before you quit your current one!
