Question:

Job suggestions? (Read details)?

I'm a stay at home mom, my son is 2 1/2, we can't afford daycare, and I'm 7 months pregnant. My husband wants me to get a job - not a full time office job, but something that will start bringing in money right away. The thing is I have a bad back, so I can't lift anything heavy, plus being pregnant makes it worse. I can't stand for longer than 30 to 45 minutes, and I don't have a degree of any kind. He's getting frustrated because he's feeling the financial pressure in our home and my working from home isn't enough paired with his full time job. Any suggestions? What could a 3rd trimester pregnant woman with a bad back and having to bring her son with her everywhere do for a job? We don't have family that could watch our son either. Help!

  1. Dear Red,

All of my sympathy  goes to you! Don't stress, enjoy the time when you are having a baby. This is so much burden on you already.

He should ashamed of himself and he should feel lucky you are not in the hospital or strictly in bed. (Sorry for being harsh!) Tell him to get a part time job instead of having fun in the amateur theater and the bars(without you)

Hats off you for keep trying to find something, but enjoy the once in a lifetime experience.Even it is your second child, every pregnancy is different.

    Good luck!

  2. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but no one is going to hire you while you're 7 months pregnant.  Tell/ask your husband to pick up a part time job until you have the baby.  You can't work anywhere right now, you don't have any other options.
