Job with Police Corrections?

Question

Would I go to the Justice Center, or City hall to obtain an application? And is there a website that posts the minimum age for this position based on city?

TO be a Correctional Officer for the city jail you must go through the County's sheriff's Dept. Go to their web site and look under employment and select deputy sheriff trainee. Everyone that works a city jail works under the Sheriff's Dept. Once you completed POST they will assign you to a jail or a court building.

After doing about 2 years of that they will ask if you would like to continue doing that or would u want to go out into patrol. Either in the jail or patrol you have to go through the sheriff's Dept.

Police corrections?  Do you mean you want to be a guard?  If you want to be a GUARD at a city jail, you apply through the city.  If you want to be a GUARD at a state facility you apply through the state.  

Yikes, someone who wants to be in prison...
