  1. I can't tell you about either since I never used them, but I do have some advice no matter what service you use or where you go.

Just be very careful.  I'm sure many of the schools that advertise on there are reputable and good.  Still...I taught abroad for a while, and I met many people who didn't have as great of an experience as I did.  Some people were recruited and expected to be going to a big city, but the school that recruited them shipped them off to another school in the countryside and they didn't even know how to get back to the big city where they felt more comfortable.  I'd say, ask to speak with the school directly rather than through a 3rd party, and ask lots of questions about the number of classes/hours per week, number of students in a class, do they have curriculum or textbooks, are there other "foreign teachers" there or will you be alone, housing, who pays for your working visa, what they do if you get sick...does the school cover Dr.'s visits?  (mine did).  Research the city you'll go to.  Most importantly, don't sign any contract until you get to the school you've been assigned to.  Then, if you don't like it, you can find a job elsewhere once you're in the country.  If there are other foreign teachers there, ask to talk to them.  Come up with some specific questions for them about the job, maybe what they like and don't like about the school, living situation, and if you're serious about going there, what to remember to bring with you.  Where I was there was no deodorant for sale...good to know ahead of time!

Good luck and keep an open mind...it's very rewarding.
