Until recent it has been illegal to work under the age of 14 and 9months in Australia. The exception being for those working in a family run business, the age then was 12yrs old.

The law has recently changed so that people over the age of 14 can now work. Try McDonald's they love hiring young staff and are really good experience and a great opportunity for young people.

i still work there and have made good friends there
