Jobs / Volunteer Opportunities For A 16 Year Old?

I REALLY need a job.

Does anyone know of a good job opportunity (that pays somewhat well) for a 16 year old?

I need to renew my working papers (since my birthday is in the summer) when I go back to school.

I was thinking about working in a dental office, but will they accept me if I'm only 16?

Where else could i work? Or volunteer?

I'm not quite sure if you could work in a dental office at the age of 16.

You'd have to call them, or make a trip up there to ask them.

The laws in your state can matter, too.

Many common jobs for 16 year olds are-

Fast food

Ice Cream joints

Movies

Mall

Six flags

Lifeguard at a waterpark

For Volunteering-

Hospital

Library

Animal Shelter

Nursing home

Red cross
