When a job application asks you about crimes, what does it want to know? Does it only want the things you've been arrested for? Or little things, like I was caught setting off draino bombs. But they just had me pay for the damages.

  1. They want to know about anything, besides traffic tickets, you were found or plead guilty to. No need to mention charges that were dismissed or dropped.

  2. They want to know about any jail time. Small things like traffic tickets and fines they dont need to know about however it does depend on were u are applying. Truck drivers and such must report traffic tickets as a example.

  3. if you are concerned

  4. The main thing employers are looking for are criminal convictions, felonies, misdemeanors and traffic offenses. You don't have to write down every little thing that you have done, as long as you weren't convicted for it.
