if any body know local newpapers and websites of canada where one can find out jobs before landing there. we are about to immigrate there on permanent residency.

Where in Canada will you be landing?  Where will you be living?  Who's job will determine where you live, your's or your wife's?

This is a HUGE country; it would be pointless to give you information about opportunities in Vancouver, if you are going to settle in Halifax.
