Jobs for 14 year olds??

Question

Im 14 and I need a job. I really cant happen to find one. I have applied in many places. But I dont know where else to apply. Can someone give me some ideas how to make some extra money. I live in Tampa FL. Can anyone please help me out.

You do realize you have to be 16 to legally work, right?

Sometimes a 15yr old can work but this requires special permission and most employers dont want to bother with the hassles of the whole thing since there are special regulations regarding hours allowed to work and conflicts with school.

Your best way of making money is to be an entreupuner and find things you can do for others as a service.  Get to mowing lawns, walking dogs, babysitting, etc.

You can work at any grocery store, and at Chick-Fil-A. Dont listen to these people telling you you have to be 16 to wrok. In the U.S., the legal age for employment is 14.

most pools will let you work as a cashier

but you need to be 15 to be a lifeguard
