  1. I started babysitting at 12.  Cut yards, tutor, and volunteer if you're not doing it for money.  Wash cars, walk dogs, house sit, take care of pets, go grocery shopping for someone, clean houses, roofs, etc.  Run errands for elderly, kinda stinks huh?!?!? It’s hard to find a job unless you’re sixteen and up. I was in your boat, years, ago….. well hope ya find something!

  2. also does his school have a student job program?

  3. babysit

    or mow neighbors yards

he can't legally get a job till he is 14

  4. well, when i was 12 i used to sell my pokemon cards...now a days you can use yu gi oh or be throw back and sell baseball cards...if not try to sell lemonade...your 12 you still have time.

  5. i d think at 12 yrs they are even allowed to work legally, but if you want to instill the value of hard working and responsibility with your child then i suggest paper routes, lawn mower jobs ( cutting the grass) they are pretty good and it don't get in the way of school at all, but i suggest that you go with him on his routes, because he's still young and you want to be with him when he goes.

  6. as he is 12 he is not legally allowed to work for an employer

  7. I'm not sure he is old enough for a "real job". but he could take a babysitting course and sit for children. Families with boys would love to have a boy come and play with their children. He is old enough to mow lawns for seniors in the neighborhood. and to help do jobs for them such as being responsible to take their trash can out to the street weekly, wash windows and small paint jobs.

  8. 12 is to young to work so come on now! A child should be just that a child and enjoy their childhood before all the busy things in life come about when they get older.

If the 12 year old is looking to make a little money maybe he can do somethings around the house like someone said take out the trash keep his room clean help with dishes and so on.

But as far as working in my eyes and I'm almost 30, 12 is a child and they should enjoy being young.

  9. How many times do we have to say this...nobody under the age of 16 is legally allowed to be employed at a business. At his age, he can mow lawns, shovel snow, rake leaves, walk dogs, etc.

  10. after he finshes his homework, take out the trash, clean up his room and clean the bathroom

  11. I don't know about the laws in your country but if you're from Australia, a child most be at least 14 and 9 months to start work.

12 years old is way too early. Why would he need a job when he's at school? If he hates school, he can drop out in Year 10 and start an apprentice.

    Other than that, it's waiting.

  12. at 12 he is not legally aloud to work, so your best bet is o ask around at family friends see if they have a job for him. Most places looking for kids to work after school and weekends wont hire them untill they are about 15.

  13. put up signs about lawn mowing maybe baby sitting etc etc

  14. A great thing, myself being around that age, is that his father supports him working. Try and teach him a skill, such as moving lawns, and weeding gardens. This is your best bet.

  15. Dont make him get a job.  Ive wanted a job since his age and as soon as i turned 14 i applied at a fast food place and quite after 2 months.  it interfered with

    school

    friends

    and most of all myself!

    wait till u get to about 15 / 16
