Question:

Jobs for chemical engineers

Where is a good place to look for jobs for chemical engineers? I'm looking for any kind of resource you can think of: names of national companies that have a distinct need for chemical engineers, websites with good postings or information (such as aiche.org), or websites that would be good to get a resume up on. Anything that would help a chemical engineer find a career. Oh, and if it makes a difference, the degree will be a phd. Thanks!!!

  1. not to sound like i'm lecturing you, but asking your question in here may not be the best place to find a legitimate answer. You should be talking with those where you got your degree, as they are much more knowledgeable about where/which companies need chem engineers. You say your degree "will be" so this sounds like you have not gotten said degree yet--which is good (kinda) in that it seems you will have ample time to investigate future job opportunities while you study/earn that phD. At any rate, there will be many jobs choices in your future, since chem eng jobs require certain abilities most of the working population does not have. Good luck!
