okay, i like avril lavigne's OLD style. the one she had before she died her hair blonde and pink. i used to have the same hair as her but then i went scissor crazy and got bangs and a victoria beckham haircut. oh and i died my hair like 7 times and almost got a pink stripe in my hair but then i got grounded and my dad made a new "no rainbow hair" rule. and then my mom made an "im never cutting your hair again" rule because i cut it too much. well actually she cuts it but whatever. i want to look more tomboy rocker like avril lavigne when she was 17. im kind of subtly rocker. but it kinda like girly pop rocker. u know, like t-shirts with skulls and black skinny jeans with baby doll flats and chuck taylors. im going into high school this year and i need a job for 9th graders in the homestead florida area. anything like babysitting, lawnmowing, anything i can do at my age. i already applied for a job at publix but that didnt go over too well. any ideas or links would be useful!! thanks!!

  1. You should still apply to other places... Then you'll find something! You just have to be patient! ^^ You should also ask people around you if they need help (for babysitting their child, cut grass, read to old people...) you could gain a little more money! ;)

  2. pineconeresearch.com

write articles in the marketplace at helium.com

offer a service such as giving pedicures or facials

sell water to people on bike/running trails

  3. Most employers want a clean, scrubbed, look, or at least not wild with rainbow hair and numerous or unusual visible body piercing.  As long as you want the teen punk look, you're probably not going to get hired to work with the buying public.  Exceptions might be a record store specializing in punk rock music or similar places.

Based on the way you described yourself, if you came into my store dressed and looking like that I would not hire you.  Casual is one thing, trying to make a political statement (and that's what the punk look is as far as I'm concerned) is something totally different and unacceptable in my store.
